Key Passage: So we have not stopped praying for you since we first heard about you. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of his will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. Colossians 1:9-10 Personalized Verse: “Lord help me to have complete knowledge of your will and give me spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help the way I live to always honor and please you, and my life will produce every kind of good fruit. Help me all the while to grow and learn to know you better and better.” Key Verse: Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8 Key Passage: I pour out before Him my complaint; before Him I tell my trouble. When my spirit grows faint within me, it is you who watch over my way. In the path where I walk people have hidden a snare for me. Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life. I cry to you, Lord; I say, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” Psalm 142:2-5 Key Passage: Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 1 Kings 19:11b-12 "I don’t have to pray for a long time, but I don’t go a long time without praying" -Craig Groechel "When I have nothing I see Him as everything." “And I believe that I will see the goodness of the Lord.
